Soccer Legend "Hand Of God" Maradona Passes Away At 60 Due To Cardiac Arrest

Argentine soccer legend Diego Armando Maradona has died after suffering a heart attack on Wednesday. The veteran soccer player was 60 years old. Two weeks ago, she underwent surgery to remove a blood clot from his brain. Football fans around the world have taken to social media to pay their respects and express their grief over the death of their favorite football player.

A football legend passed away at his home in Buenos Aires two weeks after he was released from hospital due to a Subdural Hematoma .

Maradona went down to breakfast Wednesday morning looking pale feeling cold. He told his niece that he felt sick before returning to bed when he was later found dead by a nurse. His heartbroken supporters filled the streets of Buenos Aires on Thursday as his coffin was taken out of the Casa Rosada government house to be placed on the outskirts of the city, where his parents were buried.

Diego Armando Maradona was born on October 30, 1960, in Villa Fiorito, province of Buenos Aires, Argentina. The fourth of eight children raised by Diego Sr. and Doña Tota, Maradona grew up in a poor but close-knit family. He received his first ball as a gift at the age of 3 and quickly devoted himself to the game.At 10, Maradona joined Los Cebollitas, a youth team of Argentinos Juniors, one of Argentina's biggest clubs.

Demonstrating his remarkable ability as a youngster, Maradona led Los Cebollitas to an impressive 136 undefeated game. He made his professional appearance in the senior team just before his 16th birthday.
